Satay Tenderstem® Toast
Method
-
Heat a frying pan over a medium-high heat with the olive oil. Add the Tenderstem® and cook for 5–7 minutes until lightly charred and tender.
-
Meanwhile, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey and warm water until smooth and glossy. Add enough water so it’s a pourable consistency.
-
Pour ½ the satay dressing into the pan and toss with the Tenderstem® for 1–2 minutes until coated and slightly caramelised.
-
Toast the sourdough and arrange the glazed Tenderstem® over the top. Finish with a drizzle of the remaining satay sauce, crispy shallots, red chilli slices, sesame seeds and a squeeze of lime.

Nutrition analysis of recipes featured on the Tenderstem® broccoli website is calculated by a registered dietitian using McCance and Widdowson's The Composition of Foods, Seventh Edition, but may vary slightly depending on the specific ingredients used. Analyses do not include optional ingredients or suggested accompaniments unless specific amounts are given. If there is a range in the amount of an ingredient, the smaller amount is used. When a recipe lists a choice of ingredients, the first is used.
