The Guild of Food Writers Awards were established in 1996 and are presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in food writing and broadcasting.

The event’s most prestigious award, the Lifetime Achievement award was given to Elisabeth Luard in recognition of her unique voice and great talent within the industry. This award also marked the anniversary of her first book, European Peasant Cookery, which was published exactly three decades ago.

From all of us at Tenderstem® we would like to offer a huge congratulations to all of the winners and shortlisted people and teams, and thank everyone involved at the Guild of Food Writers for the opportunity to sponsor such an amazing event, which brings people together in celebration of great food.
