Super quick and tasty stems

These individual Tenderstem®'s can accompany a meal or great as just a quick, healthy snack. Suitable for all ages and a great way to encourage kids to eat vegetables by trying with something else. Amazing cooked on the bbq or can be pan fried/griddled.

  • 10 Tenderstem® broccoli
  • Parma ham (or any spanish serrano type ham)
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar or glaze
  1. Cook Tenderstem® for 3-5 mins depending on how soft you like them (I prefer a bit more crunchy)

  2. Allow to cool then indiviually wrap each stem in a slice of ham (or halve ham slices depending on size)

  3. Brush each wrapped stem with a bit of olive oil to avoid them sticking then place on bbq/griddle pan or frying pan

  4. Allow them to brown slighly and for the ham to crisp up then take off heat.

  5. A drizzle of balsamic glaze really makes these but are equally as good as they are

  6. They are now ready to be gobbled up!!
